Day 1
Trabzon / Maçka
We meet our visitors at Trabzon Airport or bus station, then we head toward Sümela Monastery. After a short trek and visit to this area we continue our way to Zigana. Accommodation is in Maçka, Trabzon.
Day 2
Trabzon / Uzungöl Today we begin a long journey. We drive with private transport towards the south and observe the southern parts of Black Sea Mountains. We will see Karaca Cave, Gümüshane, Aydintepe, Soganli Passage, Çaykara and Uzungöl. Accommodation is in Uzungöl, Trabzon.
Day 3
Rize / İkizdere
After a short trek around Uzungöl, we pass through Balikligöl and head towards Anzer Plateau, famous for its honey, and then to the Ikizdere Çamlik area. Accommodation is at Genesis Hotel in Ikizdere, Rize.
Day 4
İspir We continue our way with private transport to the southern Black Sea. Today we will pass through Mt. Ovit, Göller, Mor Plateau and Ispir. Accommodation is in Ispir.
Day 5
Artvin We will go to Yusufeli. After visiting Dört Kilise (Four Churches, one the finest examples of Georgian churches, we will arrive to Yusufeli. Here we have free time to rest or to go rafting on Barhal River. In the evening we arrive at Artvin. Accommodation is in Yusufeli or in Artvin.
Day 6
Rize / Ayder We follow the Black Sea shore to Ayder Plateau, passing through Hopa, Findikli, Ardesen, Firtina River and, lastly, Çamlihemsin. Thermal springs await us here. Accommodation is in Ayder.
Day 7
Rize / Ayder / Göller Yöresi After the breakfast we will go the Kavron Plateaus and start our trek toward the Göller Area. After this trek, we will return to Ayder via Kavron. We celebrate our last night with a party and you will have the chance to do a traditional Horon dance accompanied by Tulum's tunes (a traditional instrument of the Black Sea region similar to the bagpipe). Accommodation is in Ayder.
Day 8
Return
After the breakfast we return to Trabzon, stopping for lunch on the way in Rize. You will be taken to Trabzon Airport and we say our farewells there.
