The Blue Voyage is one of uniqueness. The Aegean is renowned for having the most amazing historical and ancient sites in the world. Originally called the "Blue Road" by the many fishing, cargo and tradesmen of the sea that used it. It is now dominated by pleasure cruises and renamed the "Blue Voyage" for it's turquoise coast. The Blue Voyage is the most popular holiday to be had in Turkey because it covers so many places on one trip.
Day 1 Pick-ups from Olympos between 10:00-10:30. Bus transfer to the archaeological site of Myra, and to Demre for the St Nicholas Church when requested, shopping, banking and lunch. Boat departure from the harbour of Demre between 1 and 2 p.m. Pirates Cave. Sunken City of Kekova ( this Lycian-Roman archaeological site is protected, so only looking! ).Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village with no car access and Byzantine / Ottoman castle. In Gokkaya bay watersports are available. Dinner, relax in this pirates haven or party the night away at the Smugglers Inn.
Day 2
Breakfast. Departure to Kas where we first have a swim in a nice and quiet bay in front of the little town and then stop in the harbour for lunch, visit of this charming fishing village. Of ancient Antiphellos, as Kas was known, only Lycian rosk tombs, sarcophagi and Near Kalkan we stop in Aquarium or Firnaz bay ( dinner& 2nd night ). Day 3 Around sunrise we depart for Butterfly Valley where we stop (sea conditions permitting! ) for breakfast, swimming and to visit this natural reserve, hosting 136 kinds of different butterflies and moths. Oludeniz ( The Blue Lagoon ) is our next stop, again sea conditions permitting! Option for paragliding available. Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner&3rd night.
Day 4 Breakfast. Departure for Samanlık Bay ( swim & lunch ). Finally wesail to Fethiye Harbour where we arrive between 3 and 4 p.m.
